Challenges
Due to a tanker spill at a service station in Jessup, MD, there was over 700+ gallons of diesel lost in the parking lot. Subsequently, the diesel traveled down the parking lot into a storm drain which fed to a nearby retention pond.
How We ACE’d It
After receiving the emergency call on our 24/7 service phoneline, the Miller Environmental Group Team was onsite within the hour to immediately begin spill cleanup. Miller Environmental Group utilized a variety of absorbent materials to rapidly contain the spill. After proper materials were placed, we brought in our Jetter Truck and Vacuum truck to clean the parking lot and storm drains, while simultaneously sucking up the water/debris.
